Fundraising Update

The MBLAFSC Board would like to introduce Cathy Abberley as the Fundraising Co-Ordinator.

Cathy has hit the ground running and to “kick” off the year has implemented a second-hand football boot box. Donations of old boots can be dropped off to the Merchandise Office during trading hours and will be sold for gold coin donation. These funds will be collected and become part of the funds give to our charity for 2018 “After Dark” which is a not-for-profit group helping the homeless in and around the deception bay area.

Oval 1/Northern Field

The MBL Council has advised that the Northern Field is closed to all parties from Monday 29th January in preparation for the JLT and AFLW games in March.

The board asks ALL Coaches and Players to be please be patient and work together the best you can.

A revised training schedule is included in the ROAR Ed 2 newsletter.

Volunteers Required

Calling all Players, parents, family and friends. It takes between 60-70 volunteers to make days like this a success. If you hold a current RSA, can flip a burger or two or just love your footy club – Please advise me ASAP if you would like to help out on one or both of these days via SMS 0407 388 668 or email MBLevents@moretonbaylions.net.au
